Neighborhood Crime - Reported

Attention Greenwich Hill Residents:

Over the weekend, an incident involving targeted graffiti towards an owner occurred within the community. The police were called when it was discovered and are currently investigating the matter. Below are some important reminders for all residents and their guests:

-     All homes should have working front lamppost lights from dusk until dawn. Residents are also encouraged to keep their front porch lighting on during the nighttime hours to prevent any suspicious activity occurring near their home.
-     Residents should report any suspicious activity, vehicles, or persons to the police as they occur. For non-emergency situations, the police can be contacted at 703-792-6500.
-     All vehicles parked within the community should be locked at all times with the windows up. If you park a motorcycle within the community, please make sure you take the necessary precautions regarding its security as well.
-     Packages delivered by USPS, UPS, Fedex, Amazon, etc. should not be left outside your front door for an extended amount of time whenever possible. These can be easily taken and may signal to others that no one is home.
-     Rear fence gates should be properly secured at all times.

Greenwich Hill is an inclusive and welcoming community of all races, religions, ethnicities, and beliefs and we want to insure it remains a safe community for all.
